AVG Download Manager

If your computer is on Dial-up or on unstable internet connection and downloading AVG is almost impossible, you can Download AVG installation file via “AVG Download Manager”.

1. Check if you are logged into Windows under some administrative account:
- Click on the Start button -> (Settings) -> Control Panel -> User Accounts.
- Is the user you use associated with the “Administrators” group?
- If not, please log in with another user which has administrative rights.

2. Install AVG via Download Manager. Download from the link below.

a. Now launch “Download Manager” (Click “run” if there is any security warning)
b. Follow the Wizard and Choose “Full Version” and click next.
c. Select “AVG Product Line” and click next. Now Downloading will be started.
d. Proceed with the installation wizard.

3. I recommend that you close all applications before you run AVG setup, especially all security programs that can prevent AVG from correct installation (e.g.: Ad-Watch program – part of Ad-Aware, etc.).

4. Update the AVG program.
