MSVC Redistributable installation error

Hi, if you ever happens to get “”MSVC Redistributable installation” error upon installing AVG anti-Virus, you can proceed as below to resolved the issue.
Download the latest installation file of the appropriate edition that you have ordered:
http://www.avg.com/download
- Click on Download AVG now button.
- When you are prompted, please do not open this file directly from the Internet, but click Save button and choose location where installation file should be stored.
- Rename the installation file to “AVG9″ (right click on the file and select rename)
2. Click “Start ” menu.
3. Select “Run”.
4. Type in the location of the AVG installation file in quotation marks, and add the /NO_VC_REDIST parameter. For example:
“C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorDesktopAVG9″ /NO_VC_REDIST
5. Click “OK” to start installation.

Thanks very very much! I had checked out a few solutions but I’m not a total computer pro and this was a very easy way of doing it. I had to change it to “AVG9.exe” as when I put just “AVG9″ the computer didn’t know how to run it, but that was dirt easy.
