You can set Outlook express as the default email client through windows as below:
- From Outlook Express’ main window, go to the Tools menu, and click on Options
- The Options dialog will open, with the General tab automatically selected.
- At the bottom of the General options tab, locate the section labeled Default Messaging Programs
- There are two “Make Default” buttons; the top one lets you make Outlook Express Windows’ default email program.
Note: If Outlook Express already is the default email program, the text left of the button will read “This application is the default Mail handler”; the button will not be click able.
If the text left of the button reads “This application is NOT the default Mail handler”, click on the Make Default button.
Good Luck
