Window Defender Failed to initialize error 0x800106ba

If you happens to receive the error message as above upon launching window defender typically on window vista, you can fix this as this issue occurred due to Window defender service is disabled. All you have to do is :

1. Open the menu Start -> Run… (or use the “Start Search” field) -> type “services.msc”

2. now locate for “window defender” service and double click on it.

3. For the startup type select “Automatic” and click on apply. Restart your computer and the issue is fixed
